I Go Away
MNDR (real name: Amanda Warner) did a fantastic collaboration with Mark Ronson, so I checked out her solo stuff and found it to be really quite good. She’s toured with some pretty fantastic people, and there’s buzz about this girl being the next Santogold. Let’s hope her album lives up to the hype and this track. Though “I Go Away” is much slower than her normal, upbeat club jams, there’s something about MNDR’s airy voice in this song that works so well with such a basic beat.
