  • Emily Haines, frontwoman for the band METRIC, has ventured out of the realm of METRIC’s faster-paced style and has created a solo album all of her own under the name Emily Haines and the Soft Skeleton. Haines’ haunting voice and her piano-based melodies definitely differ from METRIC, but nonetheless, provide for a good listen. “Our Hell” is the first track off her 2006 album “Knives Don’t Have Your Back” and the song provides only a sample of the beauty encapsulated by the entire album.
