This year has seen its fair share of fantastic albums “debut” equally awesome bands and talent into a more public limelight, and as people like me turn to the cliché machine and make their top ten record list, Margot’s Not Animal is still fresh in our minds as the leader of that pack. Few records this year have grasped the emotional heartstrings of the industry as viciously as this octet’s work has, and it will go into the rafters as one of the great triumphs of the music community.
