They’re releasing their new album as a series of five EPs. There are 500 limited copies of each EP, and each one is lovingly numbered in blood. So far, three EPs have been released. They have authentication videos on their Vimeo account for the naysayers. Parenthetical Girls is a refreshing, innovative, yet bizarre group that’s trying to break through a scene inundated by ironic t-shirts, scruffy beards, and poorly played guitars. Zac Pennington is a man with vision, and he and his fellow (((GRRRLS))) are going to change the way you think about so-called “indie” music. Their music is art. You can’t stop them.
