    Deceptacon

  • Let’s go back to 1998. The riot grrrl movement was starting to decline around this time. Kathleen Hanna had broken up with Bikini Kill. She ended up creating Le Tigre, perhaps one of the most influencial bands on the indie scene the last ten years or so. Unfortunately, they also broke up in 2007. Militaristically feminist, Le Tigre didn’t believe in making music; they believed in making protest. What resulted was the impossible music of Le Tigre which is still loved by fans of the feminist rock, even today.
