Trust me when I tell you that you should listen to this music. You may have asked yourself just now: why should you trust my taste in the first place? Well, firstly, I spend ten minutes to make coffee with my french press because I know that it’s worth it. I wear shoes that are made with synthetic leather but cost the same price as a pair made with the real thing. I own books written by David Foster Wallace and other smart people you’ve probably heard of. Every once and a while I bring my MacBook Pro to a Starbucks and blog about my Nonfat Dirty Chai Tea Latte because I’m a motherfucking rebel. I apply the minimal amount of effort required to be considered “politically active.” Heck, I refuse to even listen to conservative ideals and opinions because they’re all bigots, you know? I reduced my carbon imprint by replacing my old bag with a similar bag that was made from recyclable materials. I buy Fiji water. I accepted a crushing and inescapable loan package so that I could pursue a psychology major in college. I understand “the streets” because I saw an episode of The Wire once. Yeah, that The Wire. Finally, and most importantly, I know who Edward R. Murrow was. Obviously I have impeccable taste.
