Here’s something about me that you probably never would’ve guessed: I meditate often. Believe it; I’m even working my way through the Tibetan Book of the Dead in my free time, when I’m not working and when I’m not sitting outside in complete silence (in the shade of course—I’m still a fair-skinned red head). Although meditation is often recommended to be practiced in silent or passive conditions, I’ve broken that rule for only one man: Brian Eno. His ambient records have been like my own personal tour guides through my own mind and subconscious. Ambient 4: On Land is probably my favorite meditative roadmap at the moment. Let it take you away.
