After The White Boy’s Beat dropped last August, I took off my training wheels and dove deeper into the realms of truly innovative hip hop, both modern and aged, and learned a thing or two about other categories of music in the process. I now present the follow-up to my original argument for artistic rap with a slightly more hardcore palette and an emphasis on the lyrical importance of this unique genre of music.
