You may have noticed that SFTL is slightly different from other blogs in that it doesn’t stray from on-topic content (to talk about the blog’s progress or promote itself or what have you). The design of our site is intentionally restrictive to only audio posts, based on the idea that our readers deserve nothing more than what they came here for, that being an unadulterated music blog. Although noble enough, oftentimes this stubbornness has hurt our other ventures. For example, most of you probably don’t know that we have a totally awesome twitter account.
Today, however, for one unique moment in time, I regrettably must “sell out.” Know that I only betray this otherwise spotless trend because I think this is something that most of you would be interested in. Today I’ve begun to bring the positivity and enthusiasm of SFTL into the realm of film. Sound Among Other Sounds is the result: a publication that discusses the core appeal of the great films of today, tomorrow, and yesterday. This new project is, like SFTL, fueled by our intense passion for the subject and a goal to spread that passion to as many people as possible. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we have writing it.
If none of that suits your fancy, hopefully “Rocky Racoon” does.
