Kanye is an attention-loving narcissist who hosts surreal parties with just a bunch of nude people chilling, interrupts more than one shitty award show, and uses charity telethons talk about whom the president doesn’t care about. He’s insane, sure, and Imma let you finish hating his guts, but at a certain point you just have to concede that his music is too frickin’ good to ignore. This specific song marks the finale of his half-inspired/half-nonsensical film Runaway and features Bon Iver, whose Blood EP is one of the first recordings to demonstrate tasteful use of the often-cancerous autotune.
