Neon Indian is a retroactive synth-pop act that, although sporting a nostalgic style reminiscent of the decade of cassette tapes and the trademark sounds of that extinct medium, is still more progressive and inventive than anything you’re going to see from those big-label synth-pop groups of today’s top charts. The musician’s debut, Psychic Chasms, is to be self-released on October 13.
