I have been an avid The Most Serene Republic fan since god knows when. Look, I am enamored with them; in my eyes they’re one of those bands that can do no wrong. Their lyrics will astound you, and their melodies will blow your mind. These cool Canadian cats recently released a new EP entitled Fantasick Impossibliss, but what I’m sharing with you is a gem that they left up for download back in May. It samples Jon Brion’s “Phone Call” from the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind soundtrack. I think I’m in love. I am forever enlisted in the army of the republic.
