I’ve just been really into this album for the last couple of weeks ever since I discovered it. Johnny Foreigner is not actually a guy named Johnny but a trio (none of whom are named Johnny) from Birmingham, England. They make really high energy, jangly songs with clever lyrics and interesting guitar hooks. JF is really an absolute must for anyone interested in the twee revival going on in England right now. Johnny Foreigner is touring the US with Los Campesinos! right now. They’re not stopping in Chicago so y’all better get on it for me.
