Australian electro-pop act Muscles has a close stylistic relationship with familiars like LCD Soundsystem and Does It Offend You Yeah?, but with none of that flavor of popularity beyond his own nation’s scope. His ‘07 record managed to make the Australian Top 20 when it was released, however, a sign of promise for this fledgling act. The catchy and upbeat grooves that Muscles cranks out emphasize the electronic side of this increasingly hip fusion.
