The Whitest Boy Alive, in short, is a project designed to merge the concept of dance with traditional instrumental technique. Throughout their pleasant albums, a mix of crisp guitar, staccato keyboard, bouncing bass, smooth vocals, and minimal drums crafts a song that can simultaneously be enjoyed in both a club and a coffee shop. Their new album, Rules, built on this idea with more of the same stuff, but what a fantastic kind of stuff that is.
